Whitethorn Volunteer Fire Department BBQ Dinner Dance Fundraiser

The Whitethorn Volunteer Fire Department is excited to invite the community to its annual Dinner & Dance Fundraiser on Saturday, August 1, at the Whitethorn Construction yard. Festivities begin at 3:00 PM. Please note our new event date!

This beloved community tradition is free to attend and open to all ages, bringing neighbors together for an afternoon and evening of great food, live music, dancing, and fun while raising funds to support our local volunteer firefighters. New this year, enjoy line dancing with Heather Gray beginning at 3:30 PM. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or trying it for the first time, everyone is welcome!

A mouthwatering BBQ dinner prepared by Moses Danzer will be served with delicious sides, homemade desserts, and beer and wine available for purchase. Dinner is $30 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, with all proceeds benefiting the Whitethorn Volunteer Fire & Protection District.

The evening’s live music lineup includes:
* Irie Rockerz
* The Breakers
* The Appetizers

Bring your family, invite your friends, and come enjoy one of Whitethorn’s favorite summer traditions. Please leave your dogs at home.

Your support helps ensure our volunteer firefighters have the equipment and resources they need to keep our community safe. If you’re interested in volunteering, please email mvandergroen@gmail.com. Homemade desserts are also greatly appreciated for the dessert table.

We look forward to sharing a great day of food, music, dancing, and community with you. See you on August 1!
