Natural Science Day at the Garberville Town Square

Celebrating environmental education and its intersection with science and the arts, Natural Science Day returns to Garberville Town Square on Wednesday, September 24 from 1-5pm.
Organized by Friends of the Lost Coast, this showcase of natural science and art features fun activities and informational displays for all ages. FOLC’s Environmental Education Coordinator presents hands-on natural science lessons, alongside offerings from a diverse array of non-profits, public agencies and local artists – all geared towards kids!
This year’s participating activity booths include BLM King Range, CA State Parks, Eel River Wailaki, Trees Foundation, Sequoia Park Zoo, the Marine Protected Area Collaborative Network, Friends of the Dunes, Garberville Library, Eel River Recovery Project and the Northern Mendocino Ecosystem Recovery Alliance, with more TBA, plus food and drink by/supporting Skyfish School.
Email info@lostcoast.org for more information or to register for a free non-profit activity booth. We hope to see you there!
