Lost Coast Film Festival – February 12th – Mi Mochima

February 12 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for the 2nd Annual Lost Coast Film Contest, a community-powered celebration of local storytelling with free weekly film screenings throughout February and a Grand Finale in March.

This grassroots film festival showcases original, family-friendly short films created by filmmakers of all ages — from elementary school students to college filmmakers and adults. Screenings rotate weekly at local venues across the Lost Coast, giving each filmmaker a chance to share their work and bringing the community together during the quieter winter months.

It’s casual, creative, and all about watching great local films with your neighbors.

This year’s contest builds on the momentum of last year and was made possible in part through the efforts of Caleb McCarthy, a member of the Cal Poly Cinema Club, who helped bring this year’s event together and support filmmakers across age groups.

Supported by local businesses including Gyppo Ale Mill, Surf Point Coffee House, Riptide Dojo, and Redwood & Waves Vacation Rental.

Come watch movies made by people who live here, support local creativity, and be part of a growing Lost Coast tradition.
