Event Description:
Join KMUD for two exciting Touch a Truck events during its annual Fire Safety Drive (July 21–31)! This free, family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to meet local firefighters, explore real fire engines, and learn about fire safety from the professionals who serve our communities.

Two local fire departments will visit KMUD Studios:

• Telegraph Ridge Fire Department – Tuesday, July 21 at 11:00 AM
• Petrolia Fire Department – Thursday, July 30 at 11:00 AM

Firefighters will be on-site for several hours, offering guided tours of their fire engines, sharing the history of their departments, discussing wildfire and fire safety, answering questions, and providing information about becoming a volunteer firefighter and earning EMT certification.

Bring the whole family for an engaging, hands-on experience while supporting community radio and learning how you can help keep Southern Humboldt safe.
