The Woodrose Cafe
A perfect spot to fuel up before heading out for a day of exploring Southern Humboldt, the Woodrose Café first opened its doors in 1977. Current owners, Cynthia Cuevas and her husband Gustavo Mendez, purchased the restaurant in 2016; although Gustavo has been filling the hungry bellies of Woodrose Café diners since 2012.
The Woodrose Cafe offers delicious foods made with fresh, organic and natural ingredients. Their menu offers vegan, vegetarian, meat and gluten free choices. Along with daily specials, made to order fresh juices and smoothies are sure to please. And, the reviews on their Huevos Rancheros lead one to believe they just can’t be missed!!
The restaurant is open 7 days a week. Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, serving breakfast and lunch. On Saturdays and Sundays, they are open 8:00am to 2:00pm and serve breakfast all day. The Woodrose Café is located at 911 Redwood Drive, at the south end of town, in Garberville.
