Humboldt Association of Realtors®
100 Years of Helping Humboldt County!
The Humboldt Association of Realtors® is a trade association representing more than 455 Realtors® in Humboldt County.
The Eureka Real Estate Board was formally organized 100 years ago on January 25th, 1922 and chartered by the State and National Associations of Realtors® on May 30th of the same year. With a founding membership of 9 Brokers and 14 sales agents, the Association has grown to a current membership of 455 Realtors®, 35 real estate sales agents (multiple listing service only) and 95 Affiliate members.
Under the direction of our 2022 Executive Officers Joshua Cook, President, Ruthie Jones, President-Elect, and Bryn Coriell, Secretary/Treasurer, the Humboldt Association of Realtors® provides education, training, and support services to help REALTORS® transform their businesses from where they are to where they want to be. Our REALTORS® subscribe to a code of ethics that exceeds normal expectations and have access to numerous services and programs to enhance their professionalism. In conjunction with the California Association of Realtor's® extensive legislative advocacy program, members are well-represented on local, state, and federal issues that affect real property.
Our REALTORS® not only help Humboldt County achieve their dream of home ownership, but also actively participate in the community. With committees such as, HAR Cares for youth, the Angel Committee, Member Services, Government Relations Committee, the Golf Committee, and so many more HAR raises and distributes funds and items to those in need in Humboldt County. In partnership with business affiliates, HAR has the opportunity to add value to the community by advocating private property rights, providing community service and promoting quality of life for REALTORS® and residents alike.
