This month’s member spotlight is on Home Cooking. Home Cooking is a take-out only restaurant located at 47 Briceland Road in Redway, just up from the car wash. Owned and operated since 2013 by Laura Eldridge and her adult children, Lindsay and Jesse, they create tasty, healthy, and convenient “grab & go” foods.
Their menu offers “take and bake” items such as pizzas, calzones, and lasagna as well as salads and sandwiches. “Bloom”, a seasonal menu created by daughter Lindsay, offers raw, vegan and organic entrees that are a visual delight and delicious. Son, Jesse, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and is dedicated to working with local farms to source many of the ingredients they use in the restaurant. Prior to operating Home Cooking, Laura owned and operated the Eel River Café for 10 years.
Home Cooking will happily cater your next meeting or event. They offer bulk discounts for local schools, fire departments, veterans and community groups. Each month they offer a different pizza and sandwich special. They also offer an incentive program for those dedicated Home Cooking lovers. Check out their FaceBook page for all the latest specials.
So, whether your tastes are traditional, vegan, gluten-free or raw, Home Cooking will prepare what mama won’t.
