The Garberville Redway Area Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that there will be a Community Picnic on the 4th of July this year. Weather permitting there will be a spectacular fireworks show! This year prices are $2 for a shuttle ride, $30 for inside parking (pre-sold at the Chamber Office), $10 for motorcycle parking, $7 for adults, $3 for children 2-10, under 2 free.
Gates open @ 8am, Activities & Booths start @ 3pm

Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Pizza, Popcorn, Drinks, Slushies, Baked Goods, Beer, Wine, Margaritas and more!

plus live music starting @ 5pm

kids activies are free and include a bounce house, relay races, wading pools, and more!

Celebrate summer at the 6th annual Barnyard Brew, Barbeque and Auction, Saturday, July 10, Garberville Rodeo Grounds 4 till dusk. The event features brews from local mini-breweries, the lively toe-tappin' country music of Way Out West, Falling Rocks and April Cyrek, hayrides, fun stuff for the kids, and silent auction. The incomparableFlaming Chefs will be swinging their spatulas: barbecued tri-tips or marinated tofu fillets, hot dogs for the kids, with grilled veggies, corn-on-the-cob and organic green salad, topped by chilled watermelon and chocolate chip cookies. All proceeds benefit Heart of the Redwoods Community Hospice. Adults $25, kids $12, with kids under 5 free. Take the Benbow Exit off 101 and follow the signs.

Benbow Lake State Park is a beautiful venue with the stage nestled between The Eel River and beautiful redwoods! This is the site of the first annual Jesus Rocks the Redwoods!

This is an all day family event with food booths, awesome Christian worship, speakers between bands, a children’s ministry area with Bible stories, fun inflatables, and hopefully fruitful altar calls.
